Rotational / Circumferential speed

The maximum permissible rotational speed in a zero-pressure working mode can be obtained from the diagram below. This diagram is also a helpful source for information when selecting the most appropriate rubber for a given application depending on the working conditions.  The table below gives the guideline values for seals under pressure depending on the rotational and circumferential speed. 

Permissible speed for seals under pressure:
